Refund Policy

MoonStory is operated by Elena Drakulevska, sole proprietor, Vienna, Austria. Payments and refunds are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com.

Try before you subscribe

Every MoonStory tool is free to try before you upgrade. You can explore the full range of tools, layouts, icons, and the AI-assisted accessibility review on the free Stargazer plan, so you know what Explorer offers before you pay.

14-day refund window

You can request a full refund of your Explorer subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase, or within 14 days of a renewal charge you did not intend (for example, accidental renewal, billing error, or a serious service issue that we could not resolve).

Because all features are testable for free before subscribing, this window is intended to cover genuine issues (accidental purchases, duplicate charges, service unavailability, or a mismatch between what was promised on the Pricing page and what you received.

How to request a refund

The fastest way to request a refund is through Paddle, who processes the payment:

  • Visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email address you used at checkout.
  • Or email us at hello@moonstory.design with your order details and the reason for the refund, and we will coordinate with Paddle on your behalf.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).

Cancellation vs refund

Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current period; you keep Explorer access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drop back to the free Stargazer plan. Your saved layouts, icon presets, and account stay intact.

You can cancel at any time from your account or via Paddle. If you want both a cancellation and a refund of the current period, request the refund as described above within the 14-day window.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, this policy is in addition to (and does not limit) your statutory right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection law. Paddle's own Refund Policy also applies to all orders.
